Hayden Property Group was originally established as Halley Homes in 1996 at Morris Road, Rothwell. A business started by John Longhurst, a young builder keen to ‘give it a go’ turned into a successful modular construction company well known in the industry. After continually growing and building over 2000 homes and cabins in a 12-year period, Halley Homes was sold in 2008 to a corporate entity known as Nomad Modular.
In 2020, over 24 years later we are back at the original Morris Road premises at Rothwell with a mission to create more housing options and fill a void in the modular market. We have new vision, inspiration, and purpose to make an impact on people’s lives through the opportunities that new innovation within the modular industry and it’s growing popularity now offers.
Hayden Property Group is a family business owned and operated by John Longhurst and is excited to now have a second generation Longhurst as part of the team. We value the relationships we have with each and every one of our clients and can ensure you will have a friendly, no fuss, personable experience when dealing with Hayden Property Group. Going the ‘extra mile’ for our clients is our standard of service and is reflected in the relationships that have been maintained over the last 24 years.
Our National HIA award-winning team have been recognised over the past three decades as one of the leaders in the modular building industry and we are grateful to have some of the original Halley Homes team back with us today.
The new world we live in post COVID has really reinforced the need for affordable and alternative living options for both the general community and our older population. With our previous experience and knowledge of the modular industry we have a mission to open up the social, disability, affordability and environmental housing options for a large percentage of people in need of these products, both in urban and remote locations where trades people are less plentiful.
Our modular and factory-controlled products are engineered to last the test of time, be transported over long distances and include far superior construction methods than conventional site building. This saves time, reduces wastage and increases efficiency to provide a complete product to you within our specified time frames.
As a manufacturer with over 10,000 square meters of factory space and a range of plans and designs proven successful in the modular industry we aim to push modular, manufactured homes to the next level and promote how to make this a more reusable, affordable and sustainable product.
Our granny flats and cabins are constructed to completion in our Caboolture factory, including complete kitchen, paint, tiling, lighting plus plumbing and electrical fixtures and fittings. They are transported on a truck and delivered to your chosen site. For most modular buildings this is where the process of your new granny flat or cabin stops. However, our product is designed to be installed on stumps for ease of future relocation and due to this Hayden Property Group is able to offer a ‘buy back’ option where we can remove and restore your granny flat or cabin for someone else and even return the site back to its original status when you no longer have use for it.
For Hayden Property Group the focus on manufactured modular housing is this ability to be able to re-locate and recycle a building amongst family members or repurpose as an affordable living option for other members of the community. This also adds increased value over the generic on-site built home for our clients and becomes more of a saleable asset than a permanent chattel.
Our modular homes and tourist cabins can be found across Queensland from the Gold Coast to Cairns, along the NSW South Coast including Coffs Harbour and everywhere in between. From beautiful beaches to epic outback locations such as Carnarvon Gorge, Roma and further west.
We also have a Display located at our Rothwell Sales office which we invite you to visit, meet our team and ask any other questions you may have about our reusable modular products.
